Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Pak Chikine (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application for food ordering and delivery in and around Kalar, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
By creating an account, placing an order, or continuing to use the App after accepting this policy, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Account information: name/username, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials. Sign-in may use email/password or Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication).
- Profile and preferences: saved delivery labels, language, theme, and similar settings on your device and/or in our databases.
- Orders and transactions: items ordered, quantities, preparation options, prices, delivery fees, order status, timestamps, and related notes.
- Delivery address and location: addresses you enter or select, and precise GPS coordinates when you grant location permission (for mapping, zone checks, and driver navigation). You may deny location permission; some delivery features may then be limited.
- Device and notifications: device tokens used by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) / Apple Push Notification service when you allow notifications.
- Technical data: basic diagnostics such as app version and OS. We do not currently use a separate third-party advertising SDK.
- Communications: messages or requests you send us (for example account-deletion requests).
3. How we use information
We use your information to create and manage your account; take and fulfill orders; calculate delivery fees and validate delivery zones; communicate order status; send push notifications you opt into; provide support; improve reliability and security; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
We process data to perform our contract with you, based on your consent (e.g. location, notifications, and policy acceptance), and for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement.
5. Firebase and other processors
We use Google Firebase services, which may include:
- Firebase Authentication — account sign-in
- Cloud Firestore — user profiles, products, orders, and configuration
- Firebase Realtime Database — live order/request updates where used
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
- Cloud Functions — server-side logic
Google/Firebase may process data under their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Sign-In and Apple platform services (where used) process data under their own policies.
6. Sharing of information
We share data only as needed to operate the service:
- Delivery partners / drivers assigned to your order (name, phone, delivery address/location, order details)
- Administrators operating the shop
- Infrastructure providers (Google/Firebase; Apple for iOS push where applicable)
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
7. Data retention
We retain account and order records while your account is active and as needed to fulfill orders, resolve disputes, meet legal/accounting requirements, and operate the business. You may request account deletion through the in-app flow; we process eligible requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention needs.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards provided by Firebase Authentication and Google Cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact malldarycompany@gmail.com if you believe a child provided us data.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent (e.g. disable location or notifications in system settings). You can update profile details in the App, request account deletion in Settings, or email malldarycompany@gmail.com.
11. International transfers
Firebase/Google may process and store data in data centers outside Iraq. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those processors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and/or at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes (when we ask for renewed consent where required) means you accept the updated policy.
